Description
The 48th Educational Conference on Right-of-Way & Utilities will be held at The Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 8 - 10, 2010.
This is an educational conference that will provide information and training for the various disciplines in the fields of right of way and utility relocation. The conference is comprised of representatives from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia as well as the Federal Highway Administration, The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, International Right of Way Association - Region 4 that comprises the New England and Mid Atlantic States, consultants, and outside interested parties.
Cancellation Policy: Cancel on or before August 1,2010 - full refund less $10.00 processing fee after August 1, 2010 - $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellation after September 1, 2010 will be subject to no refund.

Just Ducky Tour - 2:00 P.M. to 4:15 P.M.
Go Quack! Quack! On a “Just Ducky Tour”, a land and water sightseeing excursion of
Pittsburgh on a vintage World War II DUKW amphibious vehicle. This tour is fun for
all ages and the whole family. Participants will learn interesting facts that some
Pittsburghers don’t even know! We will view landmark sites on land in the cultural
and historic districts, and then travel on the river to enjoy a special view of the City.
The tour is approximately one hour long and begins and ends at Station Square near
the Sheraton Hotel. The “Just Ducky Tours” company promises that everyone will
have a “Quacking Good Time”.

A guide tour of Pittsburgh hidden treasures and secrets as you explore the history and
development of our fine city. Tour will include Fort Pitt Blockhouse and Museum,
Senator John Heinz History Center as well as the Duquesne Incline (time permitting).
FORT PITT MUSEUM

The Fort Pitt Museum, located in historic Point State Park, is a two floor, 12,000 square
foot museum that tells the story of Western Pennsylvania’s pivotal role during the
French & Indian War, the American Revolution, and as the birthplace of Pittsburgh. The
strategic location of the fort - at the Forks of the Ohio River - helped to shape the course
of American and world history.
Through interactive exhibitions, life-like historical figures, and recently added artifacts,
visitors will learn the important role our region played in shaping the United States.

From the pre-revolutionary drama of the French & Indian War to the legendary matchups
of the Super Steelers, discover 250 years of Pittsburgh history at the Senator John Heinz
History Center. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the History Center is the largest
history museum in Pennsylvania. The 250,000 square foot museum features six floors of
long-term and changing exhibition space, including the Western Pennsylvania Sports
Museum, a dynamic museum-within-a-museum, and the Library & Archives, an extensive
scholarly resource documenting 250 years of life in Western Pennsylvania.
